July 2021 Newsletter

Hello!

Holy Heat it has been a rough start to summer. This is where a different person would make a joke about hot sales and melting inventory, I am not that corny. If you could not tell Twila is not writing this month’s newsletter as she is otherwise engaged. So please forgive any grammar and flow mistakes, I am a history major not an English major after all.

On a small personal note, a huge thank you to everyone who has been giving me encouragement and support while I keep on my college path. I have officially graduated with honors from SCC and am all set to attend Whitworth in the fall. I know it has not been easy for my parents having me out of the shop so much but the journey will be well worth it for both of us.

Another small up update in regards to Covid. Washington has lifted the vast majority of restrictions on shops; as such we are following their lead and the CDC’s. Masks are not required in shop for the full vaccinated, those that are not are encouraged but not mandated to wear them. If you still wish to wear one or would like myself to put one on do not feel bad about asking, the world has changed and it’s a matter of what makes you comfortable. We do still ask that you sanitize before using our card reader for transactions, but cash and check are still accepted.

As for the whole “non-reusable bags issue”; We don’t have any non-reusable bags left in the shop. Please bring your own reusable bags, or you can pick some up from us. We do still give out free reusable bags for large orders at no cost.

We are still looking for new class requests or ideas on what to offer. If you and 3 others are willing to sign up for and commit to a class we will find a teacher to get it done. Otherwise we will do what we can.
