April 2019 Newsletter

Hello and Happy Spring!

The weather has backed off a bit and the trees are budding like crazy in our yard.  How about yours?  I know that the sunshine, flower beds and garden are all beckoning to us, but don't forget about those Quilt Show projects that need to be finished for this years shows.  If you need something and can't make it in remember Our Shop is Available On-Line TOO.  Check out what you need or want, order on line or give us a call.  We try to ship same day.

We have made a change.....We are doing Sneak Peek Saturday!  This will give a peek at what is new in the shop each week as well as the manufacturer and/or collection name.  So look on Facebook or our web-page to see what's new.  There are so many new things Twila brought back from Trends and the wholesale house.  Over a dozen new batiks, almost 3 dozen other fabrics, lots of new toys, goodies and gadgets.  Even some lovely new scissor gift sets.

Due to having full to over flowing Basic Beginner classes we are offering it once again, but there is only 1 spot left!  If you would like to learn all the basics from the bolt up, cutting and more to continuous binding this is the class for you. Classes start in April and finish in May.

We are so excited to announce that we have a new instructor.  Welcome Marji Bobiak who will be teaching 2 Wool classes.  Yes, I said wool.  Since Twila is so allergic to wool the classes will be on days she is not in the shop.  This would be Thursdays.  Haven't firmed up dates yet, but you can see samples in the shop. We re hoping to get her to try her hand a some other classes too if time permits.  Marji is a retired nurse, piecing marvel and wonderful longarm quilter...not to mention a super fun and fantastic person to be around.  One of THE most encouraging people we have ever met.
