Sew-into-Quilts & Sew-Fix-it Newsletter 2.1

Hello and Thank you!!

Well, here we are at the end of our 1st year in business. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and kindness over this very special year. Also, for your patience with our learning curve. Who knew that owning a quilt shop had soooo many intricate details to figure out? We would also like to thank Miss Jan for all her help and support in getting everything up and going. We wish you much health & happiness. We couldn’t have done it without you.

A very special Thank you to those who made ornaments for our tree this year. The winner drawn was Kay Sargent! Congratulations Kay on winning the gift basket.

We have many fun and exciting things planned for 2017! Our Row by Row will be on display by Mid- January and this year we are expanding to include Row by Row Junior and the 9th Row. Row by Row Junior is geared toward our younger quilters, yep Kids are a now being included in this fun project. The 9th Row is a special Fund Raiser to support great charities and the money raised stays in the local communities. Our Rows should be up later by this month. Our design is done, just waiting on a couple of fabrics.

Beginning Jan. 14th you are invited to join in Pat Sloan’s 2017 Mystery BOM (Block of the Month). The theme this year is “Children’s Library”. Come in to signup, get your supply list and learn more. She is using this as a “Stash buster”, but don’t worry if you don’t have a large stash! The amounts of each fabric are pretty small and the only major piece is your background fabric.

We are working to get 3 Longarm education weekends in 2017! More info will be sent out as soon as we get final word on dates.

We have 3 Retreats on the Calendar as well. March 30-2 at Granite Lodge for 4 days of Fun, Friendship and Creativity, is fully booked! But please, feel free to put your name on the waiting list. There is usually someone who has to cancel and spaces open up.  We have a Retreat with Roxanne Carter. This will be a great mystery weekend with this amazing lady and you should be coming home with a completed top. Then Oct. 5-8 we are again up at Granite Lodge for 4 days. Sign up early as space is limited.
